I came upon a pretty cool directory rating website a few days back and wanted to see how our free real estate directory would compare to others. I couldn’t get my score online so I had to submit and wait for a review.

I got an email few days later saying that 36Towns has been approved. So I went to check out the score and there it was, a whooping 7.4! That put me in a top 5% out of over a 1,100 other directories! Just check out how real estate niche represents its power among many other free directories here.

Wow, what an excitement that was… I finally saw a benchmark, a result, a reward for hard work. A major boost of motivation ran through me and got me thinking about future development of this directory. Couple of ideas are already being researched and will probably get introduced by 2008. I will update everyone about these features later, so stay tuned.

The Directory Rate promises to update these scores on a regular basis, and I am looking forward to seeing higher results for us. Marketing and promotion never stops at 36Towns and DR is now there to prove it.
